Welcome to the Abnormal Loads ePermit Registration and Application Section

Vehicles that do not comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act and Regulations in terms of permissible dimensions and/or loads are classified as abnormal vehicles. To operate on public roads, abnormal vehicles may be issued with a special permit upon payment of certain fees and charges.

Before using this section, ensure that the province/s where you want to apply for a permit accepts electronic applications. Users must register at the applicable province/s to obtain an 'Account Code'. The applicable province/s will create a 'Deposit Account' where funds need to be deposited before electronic permit applications will be accepted and processed.
